Follow 288 South past a lot of open country,
through the City of Lake Jackson, around the Dow Chemical
Plant and into the City of Freeport. Just past a small channel
of water on the left, turn left onto 2nd Street. Continue on
2nd Street for approximately 2.5 miles and turn left at S.
Cherry St. and then turn left again into parking lot of Port
Freeport's executive offices located at 200 West 2nd Street,
3rd floor; a total of 58 miles.

(1.) From 610, 59 South or 45 South take
Highway 288 South. Take the FM 523 exit after the Angleton
exit. Proceed straight as FM 523 turns into FM 1495. Turn left
into Port Freeport. Approximately 55 miles.
(2.) From
610, 59 South or 45 South take Highway 288 South to Lake
Jackson. Take the right exit to South FM 2004. Take the left
exit to South SH 36. Turn left on FM 1495 and right at Port
Freeport.
