Each year, Port Freeport hosts an annual Golf Tournament attended by over 100 golfers to help raise funds for a charitable organization within the Port's navigational district.

Annual Golf Tournament 2024

Port Freeport will host its 13th Annual Golf Tournament benefiting Texas Port Ministry -- a 501©3 funded from contributions and donations -- on November 4, 2024, at The Wilderness Golf Course in Lake Jackson. All proceeds from the tournament will assist with funding the services provided for 10,000 international seafarers from over 50 countries; over 150,000 truck drivers from across North America; and numerous local port workers through the efforts of over 40 volunteers.
